A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year to support elementary students in a school located in the Port Orchard, WA area. This contract opportunity offers a full-time schedule with approximately 37.5 hours per week, working with a caseload of 38 elementary students. The position begins immediately and is expected to continue through June 18, 2020, with the potential to extend into the summer months to provide compensatory services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language pathology services to elementary students within the school setting
- Deliver high-quality support and intervention tailored to individual student needs
- Adapt services to remote or virtual learning environments as required
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to promote student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district policies
